Cinnamon Rolls

There is an another great recipe:


-1 cup warm milk, 2 eggs, 1/3 cup margarine (melted), 4 1/2 cup flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup white sugar, 1 packet yeast

-1/3 softened butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

-1/4 softened butter, 1 packet cream (labne) cheese, 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/8 teaspoon salt

Dissolve the sugar and 1 packet of yeast in warm milk and leave it for at least 15 mins. Then add the oil, salt, eggs and flour. Mix it all together. Should be soft but not sticky dough. Cover it and leave for an hour.

Roll dough into an rectangle. Spread dough with butter and sprinkle evenly sugar/cinnamon mixture. Roll up dough and cut into up to 20 pieces. Up to you really. Place rolls in a lightly greased baking pan. Cover and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 mins. Meanwhile preheat oven to 200 degrees C.

Bake rolls in preheated oven until golden brown, about 12-13 mins. While rolls are baking beat together labne cheese, butter, sugar, vanilla and salt. Spread frosting on warm rolls before serving.
